Klammbach waterfall

A natural phenomenon can hardly enchant people with different origins so much, as water, falling from great heights upon the stones, does.

Due to its peculiar geographic conformation, South Tyrol is full of cascades. Some are more accessible, compared with the others, and it is possible to have a close look at them and to admire what frequently only the expert climbers are able to see.

The Klammbach waterfall in the Valle Anterselva: The Klammbach cascade is one of the most popular waterfalls among tourists visiting South Tyrol. It can not only be admired from far away, but, it can easily be reached even with a stroller after a simple walk. The starting point for the hike is the playground of Anterselva di Mezzo. Initially, take the direction of the Egger farms, and then follow the forest road number 3. Take the hut Bergeralm as a point of reference, given that the cascade is located immediately below. The way there and back will take approximately one hour for each one.
