Christmas markets

Like everywhere in South Tyrol, also in the Val Pusteria/Pustertal the Christmas markets are a popular tradition.

In the squares and streets of the towns and villages, one can find the typical wooden huts exposing a great variety of products: from the wonders of the local craftsmanship to the tastiest culinary and wine specialties.
Nobody is able to resist the charm of these moments, when the music of bands and choirs spreads through the air along with the scents of hot mulled wine and of typical Christmas desserts. This magic, unique of its kind, is annually repeated for the tourists and citizens.

Christmas markets in Brunico/Bruneck: One of the most popular Christmas markets of the Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley is the Brunico Christmas market. In addition to the traditional stalls and food and wine delicacies, it offers a wide range of animations and initiatives conceived for fun of adults and children.

Christmas market in San Candido/Innichen: A somewhat smaller but very authentic Christmas market takes place in the pedestrian area of San Candido.
