Hike at Passo delle Erbe
The advantage of the hike at Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch is that children can get to know beauty and authenticity of the mountains without getting too tired.
Not far from Plan de Corones/Kronplatz, there is a small village called Piccolino/Pikolein. From there, you should proceed in the direction of San Martino in Badia, and pass by the medieval castle of Thurn, that nowadays houses the Ladin Museum. This construction will make you revive the true knightly atmosphere. Follow the route with hairpin turns that leads upwards to Antermëia and then climbs up to Passo delle Erbe. If you want, you can continue your way along path 8A, through the meadows up to refuge Munt Furnela. Going to the North, through the meadows and pine forests, you will find a short rise conducting to the Ütia de Börz rest stop, and finally to summit Costaccia at the height of 2120 meters. You will see a fabulous view in front of you, and for the children’s delight, various wild animals will peek out.
